So if your half high fenced are the deer half tame?

How is the jagarundi population?

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Hard to say, we have between 10-12 miles total of exterior fencing so I think our deer are less than half tame. The jaguarundis are more docile but. they've only been seen close to a HF.

I have heard the HF dna can transmit thru the air the same way that CWD can transmit thru the soil.

Just being close to a HF means you cant brag on your deer at all or tpwd will come excavate all your top soil.

But if you somehow manage to ever kill a true trophy that wasn’t dewormed would you post photos of him?

This year started off with numerous photos of four easy to identify & mature management bucks. Been in various stands for what has been 18 hunts. Have only seen one of the identified and he is now gone gone. The other three, I have no idea. Still showing up on photos but, not in front of me.

Plain & simple - they need to go but, I am starting to realize that with the majority of our border being HF, it must be making these bucks smarter.

Impossible. It's been settled on here - any amount of high fence instantly turns deer into pets and draws your manhood into question. cool

Just hunt the fence lines and you will see them. Simple solution. And if you use a 40ft stand like elk posted the other day, you will see them all.

Only been able to hunt my land 3 times. Seen nothing. But, a young couple each got some whopper bucks during bow season.
