I'm looking for something that is "natural", not land that has had the cedar cleared out. High fenced is okay as long as deer aren't brought in. IOW, I'm looking for something that seems like an actual hunt. (But not too hard, lol.) Let me know what you've got!

Natural hill country had very little cedar historically FYI.
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

I'm not sure why I'm taking grief for my post. I want a package hunt place but not one where you are stumbling over game and where you select the size of the buck you want from a list. OTOH, I don't want a place where I won't see any mature bucks when I spend 3 days sitting at a feeder. Does that seem odd to you guys who posted?
Yes, I'm aware that since the 1960's the rich and enlightened hill country land owners have been clearing cedar to get it back to the way it was, apparently, before the arrival of Europeans. That's not the Hill Country that I grew up with and have experienced since the 1950s. Grassland is not great deer habitat. The deer seem to be quite happy sheltering in cedar thickets. To me, it is sad that the uniqueness of the Hill Country is being destroyed on big ranches and you see land that looks like grassland. Not what I want, Not interesting. It's exciting having deer appear from the cedar to approach a feeder.

To each his own. I apologize for my overly-caustic response. Good hunting.

I should have said "package hunt" in my title, it would have made more sense then. Anyway, I've gotten a couple of private messages from landowners offering packages, so I'm all set.
