So for a bad experience w browning, I had a very good experience with leupold today. Thought I’d post it on here. Called leupold bc i noticed my turret caps were missing on. Leupold vx r of mine. Their customer support just asked my name and email and said they were in stock and would send em out right away. I asked how much for em and shipping? They were kinda thrown off but so was I they replied nothing we ll get em out tmrw! I told customer service thank you merry Christmas! Positive experience! I know it’s not migratory bird related but this is the only subforum I post on on here.

Leupold has the best customer service I have ever dealt with when it comes to outdoor companies. I had a pair of binoculars that I had for 10-15 years. The eye relief cap popped off and I called them, and they said send them in. I sent the binos in and got a call back letting me know they no longer made that model anymore. I said dang and then was told they would be upgrading me to the current comparable style. They then asked me what size I wanted? I told them I believe I had 8x42 that I sent them but couldn't 100% remember. They told me that didn't matter, they'd give me whatever size I wanted. I ended up bumping up to 12x52 at no charge to me other than turnaround time. I have now purchased 3 different scopes from them.

I think Leupold scopes are a lot better than a lot of people think. Yes, I have several scopes, and two pair of their 10x50 binoculars. No complaints!

Years ago on my first Leupold I had gone to the gun range to do my yearly "sight in" after a thorough cleaning and before deer season. Getting home I discovered in my haste I had forgot to replace the turret covers.Like you I called, they understood and got them in the mail, even though I was honest about my screw up. I still have that scope and a few more. Thanks Leupold.

I've always had great luck with there customer service the couple times I've needed them. One like you was a missing turret cap. My son went out for a night hunt and came back missing a cap. Leupold took care of me right away!
Distance is not the issue, but the winds can make it interesting!

I own several all set it and forget it duplex reticle scopes. They have seen years and miles and never let me down. I believe for the simple old scopes they are they have a lot of value.
