Guy I know started making knifes as a hobby several years ago, he just retired from medical practice and is now doing it full time. He posted a knife on FB before thanksgiving and I went to his shop to take a look at it. We ended up talking and said he could build me a custom if I wanted. I like bone handled knives so I went back home and snagged my moose antlers from my trip to Canada last year to see if he could get a suitable piece for a knife. It was 50/50 on if he would be able to make a handle out of it, but he got it done and I think it came out awesome. Leather sheath is being made now and I’ll pick it up next week. Very nice and even though I’ve made about 200 knives, that file work is beautiful and beyond my skill level. He’s got some talent.

Really nice knife! What type of steel is the blade? He told me but I can't remember. I'll find out.
