Txupland, I appreciate your passion for your idea. To paraphrase a friend of mine, “things get done by those that show up”.
At some point in life its time to quit chasing the pot of gold and just enjoy the rainbow. FR Keep your gratitude higher than your expectations. RWH

The dead deer is 23 inches wide? Yessir. Maybe a little easier to tell in these pics: ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2024/12/full-67594-438512-img_1222.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2024/12/full-67594-438513-img_3403.jpeg)

Is that Quitaque in the background pic of the deer you killed? Yessir. That’s where my wife’s family is. They go back 3-4 generations in the area. Beautiful country and good people.

Congrats!

Buck in first set of pics is easily legal. Yep. You going to bet the farm and your hunting privileges on that? No reason to even consider one that is borderline and questionable! Too many very legal deer running around here to risk it.
