I hunt in west Texas with rocks, mesquite and more cactus than ground. I have to drive over many many cactus and
lots of rock. What tire do I need to get for my jeep, so that I don't have flats. Not worried about the ride, just the flats.
Thank you in advance for any and all advise.

Try to find a tire with as many plies as possible, at least 4 plies. Also look for some tires with Kevlar built in, I've heard those are some pretty tough tires.

BFG KO2’s have always done me well in that country, you and I aren’t very far apart. In 10 years of hunting that area, I’ve never had a flat as result of a mesquite thorn with those tires, can’t say the same for other tires.

Cactus won’t give you any trouble with any truck tire, or SxS tire.

I used to have a lease in Comstock and we jeep hunted. Lots of rock and cactus and mesquite. Everyone used BFG mud terrians and they worked really well.

I own a ranch in mesquite, rock and cactus country. 10 ply tires do me just fine, or you could go 12ply. I run Hercules terra tracks on my hunting and cattle feed truck. Knock on wood, so far not a flat.

Only time I’ve ever bought discount tire warranty… thank god. 5 bfg AT2 in two years in Laredo. With that said I don’t think there is any tire that would hold up to that country or west tx grease wood

^^^^Me too. I can’t speak for other tires cause this is all I’ve used for a long time. I use their AT on my everyday truck as well.
