Need to replace the back 2 tires on my 1000XP. Any suggestions other than going back to the Maxxus that came from the factory?

I changed mine this year after putting 3 years and 4k miles on the original Maxxus.

I replaced all 4 with the Maxxus 2.0 which now has a different tread pattern. I'm very glad I did. These are not as wide and tread design not quite as aggressive. The noise reduction is huge. The biggest enhancement to going with a narrower tire on the front is way less dust being kicked up and coming into the cab. Do what you have to do to keep the front tires inside the wheel well should you replace all 4.

I am in rock and on dirt roads. Did you order the Maxxus 2.0 and have someone put them on? Or did you find a place that would do it for you?

Is the 2.0 the Bighorn 2.0?

I have the bighorn on my Can Am and am moving away from them bc of the 6ply. The Mongrul's are 10ply for about the same price.

Discount Tire. Ordered them, they mounted. Took the machine to them, pulled it into the bays with all the cars and trucks and they got after it. They're 6 ply, very light. With good sealant (Tireject) I'm good and am in heavy cactus and mesquite stuff up in the panhandle.

Take a good look at the Maxxis Carnivores. I've had them on my canam defender for 4 years now and they've been one of the best all around UTV tires I've been around.
