 Mistreated my Leupold

When I was dragging the doe recently, I had the Tikka and scope slung across my front. I banged that gun and scope against a bunch of trees as I staggered through the woods. Too tired to worry about it. Then put it in the rifle rack on the Honda and bounced it for about a mile. Never had any issues with POI drift on that Leupold VX5 3-15 before, but I doubt I ever beat it up quite that bad. I had to check it out today, just to be sure. The least shot up target (100 yards) had one hole in it, exactly in the middle of the square, that I put in it a couple days ago with the same rifle. Two more holes now, both cutting the edge of that first hole. I love that Tikka in 260 and I remain pleased with the scope. Yes, I know it isn’t a NF…

My VX5HD has had a busy week. I killed my buck at 345 yards after ranging and dialing, a hog at 350 same process, 2 coyotes and 2 more hogs that I held and killed at about 200. Tikka RoughTek, 7mm rem mag.
An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.
