Seem to be wayyyy down compared to other seasons, has anyone else thought the same and why that may be?

Maybe it is because they think they will get bad mouthed for not killing a deer that is what the intellectual's on here think is " Not Mature".

A lot of my buddies on other places have had a disappointing year so far. Seeing less deer and very few mature deer.

Yeah I have never understood why someone thinks they can criticize a deer another hunter has taken. It is your tag, fill it however you wish. Any deer, even a doe, is a trophy in my eyes. Game animals are a precious resource and they should be highly valued for what nature has allowed them to be and they should not be judged by some arbitrary standard held by someone you have never met. Hunt. Be happy. Eat venison. "Merica!

Agree, and also no animus towards those hunting private property, LF or HF vs public lands, nor legal manner hunting, over feeder, corned roads, etc. Does that sound familiar? Loved the Chacalacas, btw...
