Just ordered a day/night digital scope and wondering what IR light to get for longer distances (500yds+)?

I have the Wraith Mini. I bought a larger and more expensive IF light, but went back to the one that came with the scope. It was lighter and plenty good for about 200 yards. For 500 yards, somebody else will have to chime in.

Looks like the same illuminator as on the ThermNight. You can literally see hundreds of yards with it, but the closer you are to ground level, the more help you may need. I would hold off buying an illuminator until you see if you need one or not, but if you do, Coyote Cannons are outstanding. Do not buy Armasight.
