$600 - $800 is probably about right, depending on condition, etc. A brand new one lists for $600-650. I'd put the value somewhere south of $600.

You're probably right. There might be some value in the rings/scope, but, honestly, a Nikon Buckmaster isn't really worth much to most people. Something to think about is that with election results we are going to see some pretty good deals available for at least the next couple years in the firearms and ammo market. Black Friday deals are already looking really good.
I'd think this will definitely affect the used firearm market and drive prices down. Run of the mill synthetic stocked common caliber rifles are not going to hold their value very well. I'm with Buzz, $400 ish if you wan to get it sold.
Shoot. Eat. Repeat.
