20 month old Pearl usually brings me mice or birds. No telling what she will bring next!

Our cats have brought home baby squirrels, but never a full-grown. They are definitely killers.

My cats kill everything they can catch. Birds, squirrel, lizards, snakes, frogs, rats, mice, ECT... Little killing machines, they are.

No chance, Coach, an hour later she’d eaten most except head, tail and 1 leg!

They kill a boat load of animals they weren’t meant to. I guess that’s something to be proud of.

I'm pretty sure if house cats weighed 90 lbs they would be plotting our murders right now.

Would be an interesting study. I don’t think they’ve had a major impact but definitely some impact in some areas.

House cats are murderous creatures for sure, I have a couple around the house and shop, have never had a rodent problem and they’ve killed two rattlesnakes that I know of.

I often wonder though if the benefits out way the possible destruction they are most certainly doing on some of the native bird species in the area. They kill lots of lizards also…

A couple minutes of research will tell you what you need to know about the destructive nature of house cats.

we have a fixed tom a little over a year old that is a hunting motor scooter ... he has his eyes on the squirrel that keeps coming into the backyard but hasn't figured out how to catch it ... yet

If it’s like our cats they do that at the pound to identify if they’ve caught them before. We have gotten most of our cats from the “barn cat” program. They neuter/spay, vaccinate and tip their ears for identification.
