Dearil W Jackson,
Thanks again for the great times we had in 2004. You have a super group of people doing an outstanding job for the community. Keep up the good times and hope to see you again soon. THF members take a look at their site for some great pictures that tell the story. And volunteer or participate for some good times.

“The memories you make will last you a life time”

Tell Inez and the crew I said HI!
Yours truly,
James Howard

I will be posting the stats as soon as I get caught up and get some rest. You were there you can tell the story and I will add to it.A mother and daughter harvested a doe a piece. (Uno) Mike Crenshaw harvested a doe also. making the total deer count that were harvested nine, four bucks and five anterless. I really enjoyed meeting you and all the talk around the fire was great made me feel better.
Thanks for coming down hope to see you soon.

Hello all
Here is the stats from COA's 6th annual hunt held at Lake Wright Patman Clear Spring's Park.
According to all the email I have recieved from the participant's said a good time was had by all, also said the food and friendship will last them for a long time. I know that I had a great time met a lot's of nice folk's and made lot's of new friends the memories that will last a life time.
We had twenty nine different hunter's some who hunted all four day's and some who only hunted one day. we also had twenty six volunteer's and eight inmates plus two correction's officer's from the Telford State Prison New Boston TX for two day's seting up and one day taking down the camp on Sun.
The hunter's saw a lot's of deer several were missed
We harvested nine deer five anterless and four buck's. We are all now getting ready for the LOP hunt that will begin on Dec.14th and end on the 17th at noon.If you know of any one who wishes to hunt or volunteer let me know we still have a few slot's available,we all way's need more volunteer's
Dearil

Dearil and crew thanks for a good hunt and the time around the campfire. It was cold and wet but that didn't stop this group of fine men and women from taking time out of thier own lives to provide a hunt for 25 plus challenged hunters.
We had about as much fun picking on each other as we did hunting. Some where new and many where returning again from years past. If you have never been to an event like this you should take the time to stop by and meet some of these guys. COA has done a great job getting these hunts and events set up, and they run pretty good to boot. Maybe a little late if your waiting on Dearil as he has to talk with everybody there each time he crossed the camp. LOL sorry Dearil my fingers just ran away with that one.

I look forward to hunting with you guys again, and helping out with some of your other events as well.

Dearil, Inez, and COA volunteers,
I would like to say special thanks for all you, and your group of great people has done for the disabled. It is almost unbelievable that the hunts, meals, transportation, campfire, and etc, has grown so much in the last two years. Almost double the size I saw in 2004. Yet it still runs so smoothly without a hitch anywhere. It takes a lot of hard work, dedication, and planning to put on such an event.

We had a fantastic time on the hunts and the meals were super. And COA provided all meals free! Please tell your group what a great job they did in providing all that was needed for the hunts. These guys gave up their weekends and 4 or 5 + days vacation to provide a fantastic hunt for special needs people. And the group does a special event almost every month for the disabled-unbelievable.

Dearil,
Just some of my figures (correct me if I am wrong) and a guess but:
MEAL PROVIDED: ........376 APPROX
HUNTS PROVIDED:........ 136 APPROX
BOARDING AND SHELTER PROVIDED:......... 30 APPROX
MILES OF TRANSPORTATION OF HUNTERS:........ 136 APPROX
MAN HOURS OF VOULNTEERS:......... UNKOWN
MEMORIES FOR ALL........ YOU GUESS
ALL FREE –UNBELIVABLE!

LINK TO COA DEER PICTURES

The memories you make will last you a lifetime.

Take a good look at this group and volunteer or participate if you can.

You are going right? Had a thought ( I know thinking again, just couldn't help it. ) I don't meet Roy and the gang till 1600hrs on the 15th, Maybe I'll come by LOP and meet up with you guys before heading west. Does anyone have a map for the LOP hunt area? Dearil what day are you guys setting up? Thanks Hillbilly
