So the apron of my driveway has settled, it settled right along the seam. I'm considering having someone raise it and level it for me. The part that has settled has not cracked. Have any of you out there had any concrete work done like this? Please offer your insights and advise. Also, if you have any recommendation on who can help me, please send them my way.

Won't it settle back down if you get it repaired? Maybe the bed/base they put down needs to be redone.

I don't know, that's why I'm asking questions.

I've got two sections in my driveway that cracked in half and one side settled about 4 inches. After we get a lot of rain, it will come back up a couple of inches, but if we don't get rain for about a month, it drops like a stone. So I'm curious to see if anyone has had the leveling done as well.

Thanks,
Rich

^^ What Buzz said. Polyurethane concrete lifting. It’s a thing. Just recently heard about it. Supposed to be cheaper than alternatives.

We had the slab inside our church raised with foam. The company was out of the DFW area. The guaranteed it to stay put for 10 years. That's been about 4 years ago and it still looks good.

Slurry lifting, mud jacking and foam are the three ways to do it. If I was doing it I would use the slurry method. It basically lifts and sets up in the voids that have caused it and unless something has changed about the foam, the slurry lasts better than the other methods. By better that’s forever.
