Where in Texas have you hunted released upland birds? A group is looking for a self guided hunt in Texas or Southern Oklahoma. Wanting quail, chukar, and pheasants.

There is a place around the Dallas area that does that... and I think a place around Mingus as well. I will see if I can't find their information

There is a new hunting ranch in Foreman Ark called Three Waters Quail Ranch, 15000 acres with 7miles of red river. They have a quide with a pack of brittany's that world class. web is rockinwh@gmail.com.

WGO does hunts on the EL Corazon ranch in Waller Tx.
It’s a gorgeous, 381 acre, high fenced ranch.
You can either use your dogs, or use a guide.
Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden.
Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.

Another recommendation for Triple L Quail in Forreston, Tx. (just south of Waxahachie)
We take several groups a year there. They have excellent dogs, or you can use yours.
Primarily quail, but they started raising pheasants again this year.
We are going next weekend.
They also have rooms available.
