My 10 year old twins were lucky enough to get drawn for their first turkey hunt this spring at Daughtrey. I actually have deer hunted here about 10 years ago, but I am curious about spring turkey experiences that some of y’all have had here. Thanks for the help!

I went last year for the first time. They should email you and ask for a list of of your top compartment picks. I can tell you that 4,5,9, and 10 are the best spots.

I hunted Javelina in compartment 5 last year. Probably saw atleast a couple hundred Jake's. Everywhere I tried hunting they were there in large flocks. They were very thick in that compartment for the hunt. Probably all the corn I had out down all the roads lol. They sure would clean it up in no time.

Neat place. I hunted there in 2012 and stayed at the nearby state park in one of their “covered shelters.” Didn’t get a deer but there was plenty of them there. Alligators too!
