One year later, my boar skull is done.

Shot this boy about a year ago.

Retrieved the skull about 2 months later.

Let nature work on it until this last weekend .

Power washed it, scraped anything remaining off and submerged it in hydrogen peroxide for 24 hours.

If I leave one to nature there's nothing left. I have major transmission lines running through the farm. So the buuzards and hogs clean everything up pretty quick. I have hung one for the grandkids on a low limb and retrieved later though. Looks good.

I went down a week after shooting the hog and there was no trace of him.. I found the skull in the Spring when looking for sheds. It was about 150 yards from where I shot him.
