Pretty sure Sniper John has. Search his write up or pm him.

I am thinking about going as well. Either Elephant or Black Gap. I can let you know what I find out or how it goes. Let me know if you hear any reports.

I've been to Black Gap several times. There are birds there, you will have to put in some work. It's an awesome place. I would assume Elephant Mountain would be similar.

I've been to both, but not bird hunting. I can say that Black Gap would be a rougher terrain than Elephant Mtn. You will have areas that are not as hilly/gullies. You are restricted from the top of the Mtn by TPWD. What I have experienced I would say Elephant Mtn would be easier on man and dog. Good luck.
