Poking around on Robinhood earlier I found the election stuff and threw $350 bucks at Trump since I think he is winning. But weird thing I saw was Kamala has over 79M contracts sold. Makes me wonder if they’re having people buy contracts on her or if there are that many stupid people out there.

I don’t think Trump has a chance. This country is full of liberal middle aged women who are insane. Bunch of people who hate themselves. I do not trust the states he needs to win.

When we lose, which I have a bad feeling is going to happen, it will be because of the female vote. It’s 2024, presidential elections are popularity contests for who they like as a person rather than what the candidate will accomplish.

If Harris wins, our country is going to be in a very bad way, and to be quite honest, I'm not sure we will be able to recover from it.

What is there to like about her, honestly? 'Doesn't seem fun, or smart, or pretty/cute. Never worked in the real world. The public will never know, no matter what the results are, the real her. I'm not certain she knows the real her.

I think it has more to do with "voting blue." It's a huge part of their self worth...and religion.

There is only one thing to like about her and it's her entire platform...she ain't Trump.

She is sitting almost at 90M this morning. I also believe the normal Robinhood demographic is probably pretty young so there is more young dumb zoomers on the platform so probably buying a lot more Kamala stock.

Not really understanding how this is working so far though. She is ahead almost 10M contracts why isn’t it more expensive to buy her stock vs Trumps stock which is 13 more cents per contract. Maybe one of you guys understand it better.

Pot stocks will do really well if she wins. Not the win I want but if she does, I'll be Buzz rich

There's probably two groups.

1. Those looking for a payoff from their bet.
2. People who are betting on their favorite horse, sports team etc to win.

Trump is still being favored to win according to the betting odds so you could have a bigger payoff if Kamala actually wins and you had bet on Kamala.

These aren't polls, but they could be interpreted that way.

I just read the notes on robinhood. Trump is favored to win based on the market so thats why the payout isn't as big. More people are buying Kamala but that is not determining the odds.
