I have a gift card to Bass Pro and want to buy a tactical backpack under $200. I plan on ordering it online. Does anyone here have a recommendation. I was looking at a Cabellas one in the store earlier but that was about all they had. Now that I’m on line there are several options and I just don’t know. Thanks in advance.

What features, size, etc are you interested in? What's your use case?

I basically just want a good quality bag to keep stocked and organize my things that I now have to throw in my travel bag. A small “go bag” of sorts. Really, seems like lately, everything I buy is junk or tears up. I just want something of quality and tired of ending up with junk.

Check out Midway USA. Don't buy a lot from them but what I have has been good. Their own brand seems to always be sturdy. They have a MidwayUSA Competition Range Bag that is highly rated.
It's not what you say, or think, that counts. It is what you DO!

There are some good military surplus bags out there that might fit the bill for extremely cheap. I have an Italian Army one I use for a range bag, and an East German one that I keep my magnet fishing gear in. Midway, Sportsmans Outdoors, other places have assortment of milsurp gear. Stout ripstop fabric that'll last lifetimes.

From Cabela's I like the Bow and Rifle pack https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/cabelas-bow-and-rifle-packThe Versahunt series are better for a larger pack but need to the frame as well but quite good if looking for a larger pack . There are lots of options out there but with Cabela's card to pay for it those are where I would be looking

Thanks for the responses. I’ll check them out when they get this dang WiFi on this rig going again so I can open the links. The MOAB looks a lot like the cabella’s one I was looking at in the store.

They sell these somewhere so you can see, touch and feel em? Scheels has a limited line of Kifaru. No idea if the Colony store has any in stock though Kifaru is 100% American made and berry compliant

Hung on something or it wouldn’t have. Duct tape didn’t work but it was wet at the time. I’ll see if someone can sew it. If not I’ll try to get same one again if they still carry but I spent more on mods than it cost me(and it wasn’t cheap). I guess if Jgraider can wear hi tech camo then maybe I can consider hi tech pack.

Thanks for the responses. I’ll check them out when they get this dang WiFi on this rig going again so I can open the links. The MOAB looks a lot like the cabella’s one I was looking at in the store. It’s super light, tough and has a single sling that you can switch to either lower side. So much faster and easier to get on and off. I would have to switch vehicles several times on a typical night and it was much easier to use than a double strap pack. Very comfortable to wear to with good padding against your back.

Badlands, I've been very happy with all their products, midsized pack, bino case, all good.
An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.
