Has anybody been to Tawakoni this year. I have been twice and can only find the hunters at duck creek area. Saw a lot of squirrels but no deer so far.

I do a bit of squirrel hunting. I’ve scouted the Duck Creek area at Tawakoni, but haven’t hunted there. Were you seeing the squirrels north of the pipeline clearing or south of it. I only scouted the north side…

i have seen more in the first set of woods before the power lines clearing, some north of the pipeline but not as many. Did you see any pigs when you were out there?
