Size of the horns has no relevance as to whether it’s a trophy or not. A legal bull on public land that you worked for is a trophy any day in my book.

Nice job the first one is an incredible experience walking up on a small horse sized animal. The best part is the meat. I have not run out of elk meat in 6 years, it goes a long way when supplemented with the occasional deer.
LOL your story inspired me maybe I will post up my NM bull from this year. Elk hunting is such a roller coaster and I had a ride.
