I have rebuilt a few, if you cannot locate the correct part you need on the parts diagrams on MEC's website, then call them. Their service associates are very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient at helping you with supersessions and updated parts that play well to get an older machine operating as good as a new one. And the parts are reasonable.

Wow, never knew anything like that ever was around! started loading my 12's back in early 80's,
its pretty worn, havent loaded in years, but its a jam up loader! love it, think i remember paying 99 for it
on sale at a sporting goods store in Austin att he time. We only loaded 1.1/8 oz loads, duped the Win AA loads
for dove, quail, no complaints! got a 20 about 10yrs ago, its like new, Best bang for the buck
in my book! Models are the 600 jr. simple, and manual......

Are the costs worthy of getting a rebuilt one or new one?

Considering a new Model 600 at around $300.00 I would repair an old one as long as the cost was less than 75% of a new one. But I like vintage equipment so YMMV.

Over on shotgun hunting forum. One of the mod's that's what he does is rebuild mec loaders. He goes thru rebuilds everything and sales them. I picked up a Mec 600 jr mark 5 in 28 and 20 ga. Both looked new. Hadn't been used much. Bought one off ebay. I have 200.00 in each. Both came with extra stuff. Bought the other reloader off the shotgun hunting forum.
