I guess the TX definition of youth season is different than KS.  My two boys would rather fish than hunt, and would get mad at me when I rousted them outta bed every year on the youth bird opener. I wasn't gonna miss a chance to work dogs on those early birds. Good looking setter.

I had a 16 YO with me too lol.
Theres a few Youth and Adult hunts out there... its pretty cool.

I doubt it, have a quail lease that will start soon and will likely spend most my time there or in NM
