So,
I bought a suppressor, and dealer submitted eform paperwork on 10/10/24 at about 3pm. I just got an email from the ATF that my Form 4 was approved. 8 days (5th business day) later!
Submitted as individual through Bauer Precision in Denton. They have their own equipment to do fingerprints, pictures and submit electronically (same as using the Silencer Shop Kiosk). Whole process took all of about 30 mins beginning to end.
I'm not easily impressed, or impressed at all really, when it comes to dealing with the Federal Government. But this impressed me.
Now if I can get off work with enough time to make it by there before they close to pick up my suppressor!
Just thought I'd share my excitement.

Over on the r/NFA Reddit there have been lots of individual form 4's approved within 24 hrs.
I had a Form 1 trust approved in 38 hours.
Approval times have been coming way down.

My most recent e-forms were approved in 1-3 days. Color me impressed, since my first e-form 1 a few years ago took something like two months to get approved.
