Just bought a Lamco Road feeder and went to try it, but no 12V cigareestyle plug in... Truck is a 2023 Silverado. Is there a adapter that goes from USB to cigarette style? Is the USB capable at on 5V of running a Road Feeder? Any help appreciate.

You could buy a universal cigarette lighter outlet off Amazon.

You could buy a universal cigarette lighter outlet off Amazon. It's powered by the USB port?

no, you would need to tie it in to the fuse block or similar place. usb are typically 5 volts, not 12. 5 volts will not run the feeder. it has to be 12 volts.

If you have a 7 pin trailer plug you can get your power from the charging wire and use the on off switch to turn it on and off, I’ve used a blinker wire in the past and simply used it to turn it on and off or wire a The Timer Remote to activate them. The Remote is by far the easiest way but that’s another $90 cost but using it the only thing you have to do is plug the wire into the truck and you’re ready to go.

I am surprised and find it odd the truck doesn't have a cigarette or 12v power outlet ... maybe one in the center console or back seat??? It would be pretty easy to to wire one in and mount somewhere under the dash ... 12v outlet

They quit putting them in upper trim level trucks in 2023 via the Chevrolet dealer i purchased from..
I'll probably just return the feeder, as I don't want to add, cut, splice, or deviate from factory design.

My Texas Hunting Products road feeder has a 12V feeder battery rack inside of it and you can just switch to using that with the remote if you don't have vehicle 12V readily available.

I once put a trailer plug on it and then just turned lights on when I wanted it to feed. With daytime running headlights it really doesn’t pose much of an issue.

If you have a break controller that one is easier though

I just returned the feeder since there is no longer a factory cigarette plug on my truck. No big deal, as I guess it's like getting rid of CD players in trucks..
