Just checked the forecast for next weekend. 62 for a low. 88 for a high both days.
Sunrise will be warm enough that the dogs will not be good for more than 30-45 minutes. I’m considering taking a pass on opening weekend.

Haven’t done that in quite a while…

We all need to practice Whoa more.

I agree. No point in putting dogs out for that.

I am in Colorado for a couple of weeks and was watching the news last night and the meteorologist went through this long deal on why the rest of the year and maybe early part of next year will be higher than normal temps from Colorado down through Louisiana. We were about to go out to meet another couple and go out for drinks and when the dude shifted to the five day forecast my wife immediately looked at me and said "don't be in a s*^#@y mood because your quail hunting is going to get messed up"

It will be too hot for us. No point in driving 400 miles to hunt 2-3 hours per day.

Doesn’t look like it’s gonna cool off any time soon. May be worth another out of state trip.

Just checked the 10 day forecast, should cool off for the second weekend. Even shows some rain chances.
