Well after 17 years, finally landed on an exotic hunt. I don’t know much about Roger Fawcett, other than its location. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Will do. There’s not a lot of information out there from what I can tell. Topo maps look interesting for sure.

Curious how this hunt turned out for everyone. My wife and I went in the middle of December, and we didn’t see a single Aoudad. 2 were killed while we were there. I’ve heard that 9 Aoudad were killed on the 2nd hunt. Beautiful place for sure. Was not the kind of hunting I was expecting when I went into it for sure.

Did they do it by compartment where you can roam or restrict you to an assigned blind?

My oldest son and I were drawn for this hunt in November. It was by assigned blind. The blinds were nice fiberglass. Ours had a great 30 yard view the cut out of the thicket. We didn’t see any Auodad. The manager also said whitetail were few on the place. He was right. We saw one spike and decided not to kill him. The place is partially high fence.

It was by compartment . My compartment was REALLY thick. So there was no glassing or anything like that. It’s a rough place topography wise. Definitely looks like goat country, but I was not ready for how thick it was. You basically need to see an animal walk across the road to see anything.
