I bought my license and duck stamp online for the first time via TPWD. Below is the receipt. You can do a digital license (B) or printed license (C). It did printed, and I’d get that in the mail. But I have NOT got my duck stamp in the mail. But both option looks like I won’t get one in the mail? It says on my license duck stamp expires 6/30/2025.

There was a thread on here a few weeks or month ago.

Basically they will mail them in the spring of 25, with that said I doubt we ever get them.

I guess this is the duck stamp, because in years past, the duck stamp on my license expired after a month to get you through teal season and allow time to get your duck stamp in the mail, but with eStamp it is good for a year, right?

Oh ok. That’s odd, not sure why they wait still spring.

I assume to save cost and only print what was purchased. I don't know just a guess.

The endorsement on your license is good until the end of waterfowl season. If they were to send you the stamp now, they are assuming some hunters would just double dip by giving the stamp to a friend or family member to attach to their license to hunt on.

There has always been that issue, the way they dealt with it before the endorsement expired before regulation duck season. I’m good with the new process, not sure why they changed it, as I said in my other post, the only benefit you end up with a clean stamp that is not signed, makes for a better collection stamp. I guess also not a big issue if stamp gets lost in the mail or delayed, probably less cost not having to rush processing.

After a few weeks of not getting it in the mail, I went and read my receipt and license and just assume I did not need a stamp and would not get on one, but BDB text me last night on it, so figured I should figure it out 100%. cheers

Yes they changed things with good ole Biden signing some deal into law. Last year even though i had the digital license i still had to carry my signed duck stamp with me.
Thats all changed this year.

Time is not wasted if you spend it with the ones you love.

Looks like ol joe just rubber stamped it, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Migratory Bird Program drove it. I'm good with it, make sense. Below info from other thread.

On December 19, 2023, President Biden signed into law the Duck Stamp Modernization Act of 2023. This Act modifies provisions regarding the Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation Stamp, commonly referred to as the Duck Stamp, now allowing an individual to carry an electronic stamp for the entire waterfowl hunting season. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Migratory Bird Program has been working diligently to implement this Act for the upcoming 2024-2025 hunting season.

The 2024-2025 Federal Electronic Duck Stamps (E-stamps) will be available for purchase through previously enrolled states as well as through Amplex. E-stamps will be valid from the date of purchase through June 30, 2025. Participants in the E-stamp program must carry their E-stamp certificate when hunting in either digital or hardcopy depending on the laws of the state where they are hunting, as well as fulfill other licensing requirements. A physical Federal Duck Stamp will be mailed to each E-stamp purchaser between March 10 – June 30, 2025.

The cost of an E-stamp will be $29.00 ($25 for the stamp, $4 for the federal processing/convenience fee). Individual states selling E-stamps may also charge additional state fees and handling charges on any sales of federal E-stamps. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service is not responsible for fees charged by states.

Traditional methods of purchasing the Federal Duck Stamp – from a consignee, through a local post office, through Amplex, and online through the US Postal Services Postal Store – will continue.

They should have this link on the receipt.
