Looking at getting a new bow. Something in the $1500 range. Always been a Mathews guy, but haven’t kept up with the new models. Also hear good things about the Hoyts and Elite. Looking for some feedback and models to look at. Will be a hunting bow.

Elite flagship. Think its the Ethos, Kairos and Allure. All bad arse bows
My favorite line.
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

You really need to get to a pro shop and get a feel for what they got. There will be a bow that feels right in your hand and looks handsome to your eye, and feels right. That’s your bow. I would also probably stick with Hoyt, Elite, or Matthews. I shoot a PSE, but I don’t care much for the current line up of PSE bows.
Now that Dudley is back on the Hoyt pro staff, that is where I’d probably start. PSE did their best when Dudley was part of their team.
I also think that Elite Ethos is pretty BA. An acquaintance of mine won a big tournament with one a few weeks or months back. Also priced well for what you get.
I am addicted to speed, I like smoking fast and heavy draw weight. Nobody is really making one that suits me, except maybe a Matthews Monster Safari and that’s too much money.
