Any tips from people that have hunted this? First time I've ever won a drawn hunt and really don't know what to expect...

I've been looking online at deer harvested there and haven't found anything from last season...

Lay the corn out far and wide where ever you decide to hunt. They will find it. Check if they still allow alfalfa it helps too. Good bucks out there so be patient/selective. I was not as selective as I should have been and watched a 150ish 10 point after I killed a 120ish 8.

I agree, there are plenty of animals and some nice ones out there.

Good advice.

Kerr WMA hunt is awesome - that place is loaded with deer. I had excessive opportunity to harvest deer when I hunted it.... Had probably 20ish deer come up on my corn/alfalfa over 2 days. One of the better hunts I've ever won.

Success stats are always pretty good there. See https://tpwd.texas.gov/huntwild/hunt/public/public_hunt_drawing/statistics.phtml ... just search "Kerr" in the spreadsheet smile Looks like e-postcard hunt last year had a 73% success rate, 6 bucks, 5 antlerless
