Up until 2 years ago when drought devasted our area I was seeing increased numbers every year for the last 12 years, in 2021 I had as many as10 deer at our feeders at one time. We harvested only one deer in both 22 and 23. On Many sittings we had no deer at all or if we saw any they were in the distance. They never came to the feeders. Fortunately this year I'm seeing good numbers with quite a few does with twin which is not the case historically. Looking forward to a far better season this year then the last 2.

Shelby county -- I usually see 3-8 deer a sit. On the 3 years I've been on the lease, there may have been 2-3 hunts where I didn't see anything and that was during bow season when it was hot or very windy cold front days. I hunt 3-4 days a week from opening day of bow season to New years.

Mills county - if you aren't seeing deer, and usually quite a few, your lease is either horrible (no cover, food, water) or you're asleep while they're walking by.
