Rosie was acting strange on our Dove hunt. Turns out there was a well camouflaged rattlesnake just a few feet behind us. She unfortunately found it before I saw it and got a snake avoidance hit with her collar from me when I saw what she was putting her nose to. Then last night I'm in my camper barefoot and see a big scorpion crawling into the side of her crate. I threw her outside, flipped the wire crate, and started smashing stuff on the floor until I got it. 2nd one I saw yesterday. So much for sleeping last night which caused me to sleep through my alarm and miss the opening morning Deer hunt. Bug bombs going right now. Go to the lease and relax the wife said. crazy

Yikes..... That could have been a bad deal. Thank goodness no one got hit.

It never moved or made a sound. At least not until I went back and removed it's head.
