I'm at the lease, wife is at home and hears a loud impact and breaking glass sound near the front door. She opens up to see the Fed Ex truck haulng a-- away from the curb and sees this:

It's the spare tire and wheel I ordered for my Ranger thrown on the porch and into a large flower pot. The Fed Ex driver actually posted an identical picture on the tracking page to show proof of delivery.
I've learned that Fed Ex mostly contracts out ground service. This is what happens when you give up total control of your business. A few phone calls and we have a check on the way for replacement of this and another matching pot.

If the driver had of knocked, shown us what happened I promise you that would have been the end of it and we wouldn't ratted him out. As it is..............Fed Ex is paying and I don't know or care what happens to the driver.

This is the kind of service you get in the day and age of half-arse employees bred and raised by half-arse parents, managed by half-arse managers, who were not allowed to fail in school and not held accountable due to political correctness. All in the name of what, speed? Progress? None of it is worth the price we're paying for it. And boy are we paying! Higher costs for everything, taxes, insurance, just because no one will take the time to hold them to a higher level. Cuz, you know, that takes effort.

So that's where our FedEx girl got transferred.

I receive shipments 6 days a week from UPS and Fedex. I have had more battles with Fedex than UPS. At one point I would have 3 Fedex trucks a day come in, one was standard delivery, one was standard pick up and one was home delivery. Most of the drivers were contract employees that did not make much per hour with no benefits.

Does not seem like a profitable business model.

We had to call and complain about our FedEx driver. He started putting deliveries right up to the garage door. I came very close to backing over the delivery a couple of times. We have a Ring doorbell to tell us when we have a delivery, but it doesn't pick up packages put next to the garage door.

FedEx truck took out our brick mailbox and the neighbors as well 2 years ago. Have no idea how he did it but they were obliterated. FedEx paid for new ones but it wasnt exactly an easy resolution.

She's used to the run up to deer season onslaught. Thing is, I gave her a heads up that it was coming. Not to sit around and wait, just a please move it inside I'll take care of it when I get home request. The Conex build was a pretty heavy Amazon presence for lighting, some electrical, door hardware........

Until this I had no issues with FedEx.

It's good she's understanding. It's unfortunate we have to play defense with these idiot drivers.

There's apparently some kind of FedEx force field that prevents them from getting to me.

Most of my stuff comes on an Amazon Truck or UPS.

I wish you'd share some of that magic with me.
