My mom struggled with mental illness for the rest of her life after giving up her first child and my oldest sister to cancer when she was just three years old. I had no idea what that must have been like until after my wife and I had our first child. I know and find comfort in that I will see both my mom and Janet in Heaven.
Prayers for your cousin and the family.
