This is nothing fancy. I threw up a small covered area around my hunting camp. It’s plywood, which I painted to get a few extra years out of. Shingles were too heavy. It’s really just shade and for rain.
The seams are leaking. Caulk was a waste of time. It don’t have to be pretty, just needs to work.
My thoughts. 1. How about bondo on the Seams? 2. Liquid flashing for Seams? 3. Roof cement, the black sticky stuff.
I’m open to suggestions.

I had a similar problem some years ago. I found some old roof tin for cheap, nailed it to the plywood, and covered all the holes with that goopy black roof cement/tar. Wasn’t pretty, but didn’t leak. The tin was some that a guy was trying to get rid of from a torn down house, so it was not the good stuff, but it was real cheap.

I have considered throwing tin on top of it. Which is what I should have done to begin with.

Roll roofing and roof cement. I have done a ton of cheap roofs like that.

roll on roof coating (like used on travel trailers)
roll roofing (similar to shingles but rolls are wide and less weight)
corrugated metal roofing.
how much of a slope does your roof have?

Not sure if you are anywhere near me but I kept all the metal panels from my roof when I had it replace a couple of years ago. I have plans for most of it but I am sure I have some I can spare if you want them. I am in SW Bell County between Killeen and Florence.

If you aren’t going to do tin, this is best fix for joints, any one with RV should have a roll You can also paint the whole roof with Coolguard 5 Gal. Insulating Elastomeric White Roof Sealer

I should never have said a thing about Roll-Tide’s roof. The wife came in and said the shed roof was flapping in the wind gusts. I mentioned my damaged hand. She said, yep, wouldn’t want you to hurt it, so stay on the doctors orders. Ten minutes later she said, boy it sure is flapping. I said the neighbor will be back tomorrow and I’ll ask him or his son to fix it. Ten minutes later she says, sure wouldn’t want the tin to blow off. Holy Cow…put on my boots and grabbed a ladder (in the right hand) and put it in position. Got the drill/driver and some self tapping rubber gasketed screws, climbed up and snugged down the tin, as she wrung her hands and said that we could have waited till tomorrow, and be careful. And then she says why’d you feel like you needed to do that, and you are so hard headed.
On big pain drugs, being nagged endlessly, on the top part of the ladder, in the wind, using only one hand, what could possibly go wrong?
When I do eventually die, I am sure it will be from a heart attack precipitated by my wife. But the Fing roof ain’t flapping. I bet she’s checking…
