Had my rubber band ligation on the first of 3 internal hemorrhoids. Looking forward to losing these 3 that have been around for 20 years.

I've never heard of rubber band ligation of hemorrhoids before. That sounds uglier than refried sin.

Doc had to use three methods on me. Rubber bands, laser, scalpel. Worst best thing I ever did.

Had my Gastro Dr. mention this procedure to me several years ago. Said it was an office procedure. Luckily, the issue only arises when I prep for colonoscopies.

It’s an office procedure , on par with a colonoscopy from a degrading standpoint. 24 hours in and the pain is nearly nothing. Doc said I should lose it in 2-5 days

The process. He wound up missing almost a weeks work.

I've had a few issues myself, but can keep things pretty much under control with proper dieting. Getting older is no fun!

I wasn't old when I had big trouble.

Congratulations, I know it was/is a pain in the back side, but in a couple of weeks it will be one of your best decisions of late.

My biggest issue after was the baseball I had to pass due to the anesthesia. I was told to fast for 12 hours before. I had nothing but broth for 24 hours before and did all the other flush procedures but the non-opiod pain killers still blocked me and that was BAD. Took me two plus days to get that gone. Then the healing started and I was way better.

I still haven’t given birth to this little fella yet …

Because I know you’re all wondering about my little triplets , first one done. 2nd band on now , 2 weeks from now the last one will be strangled and I’ll be good to go
