Man, that stinks. One of the best ever, a gunslinger. Always liked him. He was on some show last weekend and I thought something seemed off as he was a little slow. I wish him well.

Wouldn’t wish that on anyone. He played recklessly and during an era where players would do anything to stay on the field, and trainers/doctors were willing to allow it. I believe he also abused pain killers during his career to stay on the field.

A couple decades ago I took care of a man whose wife was a friend of one of my sister's. He had Parkinson's and it was pretty advanced. I was between jobs and my sister had ask me if I wanted to help out with him. He was a very smart man and had traveled the world and had some really interesting stories. He used to love for me to take him to Hooter's, lol. He was in a wheelchair, but he loved flirting with the gals and they loved him. His deterioration was hard to watch.

But I felt bad for him not only for his condition, but because his wife was gay. She wanted to live her desired lifestyle while leaving it up to others to care for him. Sad deal all the way around.

I wish Brett the best.

I watched a BIL progress with this and eventually pass. It’s a tough way to go.

Some people can live a good life with it a long time, hopefully this is the case with him. Sad to hear.

That’s a shame. He seems like a good guy and is an avid hunter. He also criticized the anthem kneelers.

I am a huge Favre fan. Most exciting quarterback I have ever watched. Alot of people dont know that Favre actually has the same hip issue that brought Bo Jacksons career to an end. It was discovered during a physical after being traded to the Packers his first year. I think he even failed the physical because of it. Some how he went on to become NFL's iorn man.

Bo’s hip ended his career because he put it back into socket on the field himself and he broke an artery, if I remember correctly.

Good QB , yes. Good dude, not.
But I do feel sorry for him. The game was not kind to his body..
