Did anyone else in north and west TX see a big migration ahead of the front? I wasn't planning on hunting Sun morning. I was hanging outside the camper watching the sunrise, planning all the work I had to do, when I noticed a big group crossing about a hundred yards from me. Then another group. Well, alright then, I grabbed a stool, gun, and box of ammo. It was wave after wave of big groups coming through flying south treetop high. I've never seen it like this on this place. Ended up with a pretty quick and unexpected limit. The front didn't hit for another 12 hours, so I don't know if it was all migrators or a fluke. Thought I see if anyone else saw the same. I saw a bunch on powerlines at my house today. Hopefully the stick around for my hunters coming in on Friday.

Yes but they was way up there big groups tho.

Yep, just drove some of my fields, have definitely had a northern push of birds.

Nope, very few. It was a NE-E wind here. Needed a North or North West wind. There are a lot more birds in central and western Oklahoma and Kansas than there is in the eastern parts of those states.
