Have a 2015 Mule 600
When I go to start it it just makes a clunk sound eat time I try.
Any possible ideas?
I’m thinking starter or starter solenoid ?
Anyone have similar problem with there Mule?

Mules typically start every time. I would check electrical first and make sure you have power and starter.

Check and make sure the battery terminal cable connectors are tight.

Start with the easiest thing and check for dirty/loose connections throughout the whole starting system.

Battery, starter or something is locked up. I’ve seen alternators sound exactly like that when they seize up.
Your welcome to PM me if you would like help.

Gotta try some sort of diagnosis first. Put a socket and breaker bar on the crank bolt and see if the engine rotates. If so, time to look into the electrical. If not, it may not be worth fixing.
Pass the gravy.

Your welcome to PM me if you would like help. These don’t have alternators.

Please don't take the parts swapping advice until some sort of diagnosis is attempted.

pull the spark plug/s to see if you get it to turn over freely to make sure the cylinder/s is/are clear

Mine did the same thing last year. 2015 Mule Pro FXT and it was the starter. And on the Pro, it's a nightmare to change. It's in a very bad location. 3.5 hour job for me and a buddy, following a YouTube video.

A starter can clunk just like that because it’s not getting enough power from the battery.

Batteries can still be bad with good voltage. Do a load check. Load check device is cheap.

Bad Battery, bad connection are likely, but in my experience with Mules, it is usually the starter/starter solenoid to be specific Jump the 2 posts on the solenoid with a screwdriver, if it starts, bad solenoid.

Just tried that it it just spins the starter. Any ideas?
Should I take battery off to get load tested?

Should I take battery off to get load tested? Clunking or spinning can point to a bad starter bendix. Had it happen on my 20hp Koehler lawn tractor. Symptoms were the same.
