I got drawn for a gun hunt at the Atlanta State Park in Dec. I've never been there. Can somebody give me some info on it?

My son drew a youth hunt a couple of years ago out there. Nice park and we had a good time. Staff was really awesome and welcoming. It was assigned blinds and you can provide your own bait to put out. Bring a chair and whatever else you normally take to a blind, the staff took us to and from the blind. A fair amount of deer were harvested and my son saw a few but could not seal the deal. An adult could definitely could have shot a few does with better patience. The deer were on the small side body wise compared to what im normally used to in east texas. We never saw any bucks so i cant comment on that. Overall we had a great time and camped in the park tent spots through a small snow storm.

What kind of blinds do they use?

We were in pop up ground blinds. I think they have a few box blinds as well, we just never sat in one. Again, this was for youth, but I’m just assuming it’s the same for adults.
