If you have a choice of areas, take #2. I had that for Javelina last year and could have killed a truckload of deer including a nice 10 pt. There is a trail that goes down to a dry pond and on the south side of the pond over a small hill it opens out into a really nice flat that goes clear to the lake. Lost of deer and deer sign there last year. PM me and I'll send you a screenshot of the location.

Pretty Pumped. Sadly though, the two adult hunts are on the same days. I have to choose. Any advice would be appreciated about picking between those two hunts?

Two oldest grandsons drew San Angelo SP so SIL and I will take them there.

Drew nothing this go around, but did win some Rocky Trophy snake boots in the NWTF buck wild sweepstakes.

That's a good haul. This year has been good to me too. I'm actually hoping I don't draw anything else this year or my wife might divorce me. LOL

My son drew Garner a few years ago. It was a great hunt!

I drew that hunt two years back. It was fun!

My niece and nephew drew the youth buck hunt at the Chaparral.

Nothing on the adult hunts.

I drew that hunt last year, waiting for second draw this time. Learned a lot, especially getting there early on the scouting day, the usefulness of some type of raised blind, and plenty of bug dope.

I put my son and I in for 160 separate drawings, pretty much all the youth hunts I could put him in for. right now, 4 awards, 49 no-award, 34 waiting second draw, and around 70 draws to come.
