I have a small place well off the beaten track that I shoot and miss a lot of doves on and get to go over to the guy's next door and cast a few in his tank. Well today something just didn't feel right form the time I got there I felt odd like I was being watched. At the range I kept having the feeling something was behind me and the muffs made it worse as I couldn't hear. I drove around didn't see any vehicle tracks or signs of anything out of the ordinary got out and walked parts of the fence line still nothing.

Guess paranoia will destroy ya, I need some game cams that I can watch from my phone or PC that won't break the bank any ideas?

How much $ in the bank? I use a couple of Tactacam Reveal SK cameras and I’m very happy. I did have one get wet inside. It still worked, but the pics were fuzzy. I replaced it, and would do so again if necessary.

I doubt anyone would be eyeing you or your place with a gun in your hands. Maybe you have a ghost. Might do some research if you haven't already.

Have had this place for 28 years never have I felt that way before, the only person to roll up uninvited is the game warden and that was 8 years ago. Cameras can't be a bad thing only have a road on one side, I think I could cover it well with three of them Tactacams.

DEA silent drone looking for plants would be my first guess

I use Reolink. They have wifi and network cable based. With and without DVR box. Can be set up to monitor through phone but I like that I can set up my own system that doesn't have to be connected to their network.

A big group of us were hunting geese in a field off the highway service road by a Walmart in Reno, OK.

It was a great hunt, we were laying the smackdown on them, birds dropping from the sky everywhere. There was a lull in the action for a second and I thought I heard someone talking near us, but not part of our hunting group. I asked "Did any of yall hear that? It sounds like someone is behind us". They all said no and we went back to dropping birds. 5-10 minutes later I hear it again and again I ask them if they heard it they all say no. At this point I'm convinced were being stalked or something and I get out of the layout blind and look around a bit. I don't see anything and the birds start coming down on top of me so I get back in the blind and we drop the hammer on them.

5 minutes later we hear "Freeze, everybody put your guns down and your hands up." Sheriff [censored] of El Reno, Ok, and his mentally challenged sidekick were there to take us all to the big house. We had permission to hunt and had checked all the distances and property lines and were totally legal.

Our buddy who had permission to hunt and the sheriff start going at, he goes back to the cop car with him and shows him his text with the landowner and the distances required to be legal, etc... Sheriff calls the game warden. Warden comes out looks at the maps and text and regulations and says were good to. My buddy hears that and gives us the thumbs up and we start dropping birds again. The sheriff loses his damn mind and runs from his car into the middle of the decoy spread as were shooting throwing his hands up telling us that were all going to jail for attempted murder of police officer.

He said he had a deputy down in the valley behind our field watching us and that our shots were aimed towards the deputy. Mind you even if he did have a deputy behind field, he would have had to have been 1000-1500 yards away from our decoy spread. Sherriff starts arguing with the game warden saying there's no way we're legal, blah, blah, blah, game warden says he disagrees, and it was a [censored] show. After about 30 minutes of them talking the game warden comes back to us and says "Look your legal. I've looked at the maps, text, property lines, etc...your legal and I can't find a single thing to ticket you for, but the Sherriff ain't gonna give it up, he's gonna stand out here all day harassing y'all until you leave."


So we packed up and left, but not without getting a good picture of the group with about 50 geese and the Sheriffs car in the background lights and sirens on and the game wardens truck behind his. All of us with a big [censored] eating grin on our faces.

Sometimes when you have that feeling your being watched, you actually are.
