Long way to go, but I am working on it. Made the first one for grandkids. This will be for great-grandkids and will look like the one below, but in a lighter walnut shade. I’m in the glue-up big sections part of the construction.

up looks somewhat familiar and good work. Your pattern looks like the pattern my Dad built quite a few of over the years. First one in 1983 for his first grandson. He probably made at least 12 others over the years and those were passed around to others to use.

I did the assembly (unfinished) of the cradle this afternoon, just to make sure everything fit properly. And the parts all do fit. A little tweaking to do, and plenty of power and hand sanding, and then a few coats of Minwax Antique Oil, and then all we need is a baby. Well, maybe a mattress, too…and whatever else women decide they need. There will be button plugs in the various holes you see.

That shop is disgustingly clean and organized

It is quite a mess, isn’t it. At least I do know where everything is….sometimes, kinda, sorta. If my short term memory ever goes, I am in big trouble doing anything. On the other hand, consider the joy I’ll feel when I find something I didn’t remember I had.

Looking good amazing sir and that’s got to be awesome making something like that for grandkids but even more so for great grandkids. We had our son so late I’ll be lucky to have grandkids and unless my son has em early I’ll never see great grandkids lol.
