My Cousins bulldog decides he needed to chew on something. He he did a number on a 12 ga. Remington 11-87.
Anybody got any ideas other than choking the dog [Linked Image]

Buy a new stock and gift the mutt to someone who crossed you.

And gift the old stock to the mutt. It’s up to you how fast.

I’ve bought a few stocks off eBay for reasonable money.

Buy a new stock and some of these. They are indestructible by dogs.

My Dad had a Rem model 721 that he hunted with in Colorado from '57 until the mid 70's. He left it out side the
tent.one night. Woke up and a porcupine had done a number on the stock. He hunted with it for years after till
one trip he fell and broke the stock. I bought one from Herters . I think it was advertised as 90 % inletted.
It took me forever to make it fit. by the time I was done , I had removed too much material and had to glass bed the whole thing.
That was pretty much the end of my gunsmithing career, smile

My dogs over the years have eaten everything from motorcycles to fences, but spared my firearms. Besides a stock replacement, is there enough in the right places to kinda sorta customize the thing differently?
