Texas jam early 80's, Rolling Stones, ZZ Top, ...loaded up my 4x4 Toyota pick-up with my old high school friends (cab and bed packed). I remember it pour down rain, good thing I had a camper top for my friends.

Early 90's the Cure, me and my high school friends rented a limo to take us to the show and night on the town, that was a night to remember.

Saw Lenny Kravitz put on an incredible show back in the 90’s. Was a small venue which made it even better. That guy is pretty talented.

Queen at Reunion Arena in 1981. Saw KISS multiple times growing up in the 70's and 80's, great theatrics. Aerosmith and, believe it or not, Garth Brooks and Chris LeDoux in 1991. I've seen Rush 6 or 8 times in the 80's through the 2000's. By far some of the most talented musicians I've ever seen. Saw the Ramones multiple times in the 80's - pile-driving non-stop loud punkers. Alison Krauss and Union Station in Ft. Worth several years ago. Probably my favorite voice and spectacular musicians.

After reminiscing of the ones many mentioned above the two most memorable concerts I've seen was Berry Manilow at Westgate Las Vagas in 83?? That guy would talk to the audience like you was the only ones there the women we're all dressed to kilI I have to say I really liked his show. The other was Cactus when they came to Memphis in 75 that concert was a trip smile ani and I can to this day remember parts of it like it was yesterday.

Maybe biased because my two favorites were in my teen years so somewhat nostalgic. They were the Eagles - Long Run show in Oklahoma City, 1980. That concert was on Valentine's Day and Joe Walsh wore a green shirt with a pink Cupid on it. Ha, funny what you can remember. Followed almost immediately by my 2nd most memorable concert, Bob Seger w/ the Silver Bullet Band on the Against the Wind tour. During Turn the Page the spotlights zoomed to a spot high up in the seats to shine on Alto Reed on the Sax playing his solo. Chilling!

I've seen many many concerts since, but these two will always be special.

One that also stands out but for the opposite reason, Kenny Rogers, I think around 1990. I like a lot of his music but the concert was terrible. About 15 minutes in, he left the stage and was replaced by a series of his movie clips playing on the backdrop screen. Would've been okay but it lasted for WAY too long - maybe 20+ minutes - then he returned for about 30 minutes and left. I could have saved the money and watched it on late night tv.

Very envious of you seeing Seger.

Most memorable- Tanya Tucker in FtWorth in 75-76. We were about the same age and I had a huge crush on her. Won tickets from a radio station. Friend and I snuck backstage and she brushed my shoulder while exiting the stage. I was in love!

Metallica @ the Fillmore Theatre in San Fran. You couldn't buy tickets to this show, only fan club members got chance. Ticket holders got to go online and make the set list. It was all pre-black album set list. That tiny theater was bangin that night!!

Bought tickets for foo fighter at deep Ellum live in 97/98 ish. They were with everclear and someone else I can’t recall. My buddy that drove started getting love sick with his new flame and insisted he was leaving before foo fighters came on. I still remind him about this when I get a chance.
Weezer at that venue was good too.

I’ve been to too many to really pick out more than a couple.

Rock would probably be korn @ reunion in 98/99 ish
Been to a bunch of good acoustic sets but Robert Earl and Lyle Lovett at Bass hall really sets out.

Garth gets disrespected, but he puts on a great show.

Most memorable for me was Alabama at Reunion Arena in the 1980s. The three sections behind the stage were entirely free tickets from radio station calls in during the month prior, so much of the group was not your normal concert goers and many who's budgets I doubt could have afforded to buy concert tickets very often. A buddy and I were in that section with free tickets. Near the end of the concert, my buddy and I went up the two isles between our three sections and told everyone not to leave when the concert was over and to help us chant for an encore. At the end of the concert we got at the front of the isles to block people from leaving and to encourage them go sit back down. We stood in front and led a More More More chant for a very long time. After the rest of the arena was empty and we were just about to give up, the band came out, picked up their guitars, came to the back of the stage facing us and opened with Backman Turner Overdrive's Takin Care of Business. We went nuts. Alabama proceeded to give our little group our own concert comprised of several non Alabama songs of the type I am sure they normally only jamming for themselves. It was an awesome experience. They have my respect.

My wife wanted to go see Garth, and we had a great time. Grath put on one of the best performances I have ever witnessed, he did everything from the Beatles to George Jones...he can sing any song and make it sound great.

We’ve seen Alan Jackson twice at the San Antonio Stock show and again right before the China flu at Dickies Arena in Ft Worth. All great shows.
Hank Jr and Merle Haggard at Billy Bobs many moons ago.

I just saw this on Facebook, I was there, on the floor right up front. I thought it was the Texas jam, but it might have just been the Stones and ZZ Top .
