The She-Wolf and I ran down to Fritztown earlier in the week to celebrate our 35th anniversary and had dinner here (our third time). Our critical score averaged 9.5 out of 10.

Began by sharing the Queso Fundido con Rajas (oaxaca cheese with poblano strips and roasted corn).

Followed with Roasted Carrot Ancho Soup (they sell this by the quart and I very nearly brought a quart home).

Jane had an 8 oz filet accompanied with maple chipotle mashed sweet potatoes. I had the lobster-topped chicken fried ribeye with green chile cream gravy (we'll be re-creating this at the house this weekend!).

Finished off with warm butterscotch bread pudding topped with salted caramel ice cream and walnuts.

Yep, that place is good. Ate there many years ago for our 1st wedding anniversary.

At that time that had a 20 ounce bone in ribeye cooked over Mesquite. I ordered it black & blue with a crust, the waiter never blinked an eye and the chef nailed it.

Doggone it. We'll be there Sunday night and they are closed Sunday and Monday.
