You have to visualize this.
My food plot is a V shape. My stand is at the bottom tip of the V. My feeder is located on the tip of the right arm.
I have two accesses to my stand.
At the bottom of the V is a creek that I ride along park my scooter and walk though a little part of the food plot. Where I am walking is pretty much bedding area.
On top of the V is a 400 acre maze field. Between the maze field and the V is another access way. The problems I see here is when walking in I walk on trails going to the maze field and on the way in I walk 20yrds of the feeder. I have to walk about 150 yards in from the maze field. I get in my stand about 4:30. When everyone heads out around 5ish to there stand they also go right between the maze field and the V.
You probably say what is he saying. If you understand any of this put your comments in the post please

Go to your stand the shortest and quickest way possible and get in it as fast as posible. I have walked into my stand at 9:45 in the morning and had a deer come out at 10:00 a.m.
In my opinion, spend time on figuring out the quickest and quietest way to get into your stand. The faster and quieter you are at getting in your stand and setting there, the faster the woods will settle down. As for your buddies having to pass by your stand at 5ish, you have about 2 hours or more before legal shooting time, the only deer that will be spooked are the ones in the immediate area, if the deer are moving at all, other animals will drift in and out of the area. I would go which ever way I had to stay out of the bedding areas and the creek bottom, use the field if possible.
