One of my neighbors dug a pond and needed to get rid of a mountain of dirt. He had a huge excavator and access to a huge 18 yard trailer and truck.

He delivered 7 loads to build shooting burms and filling in a low spot in my field. He didn’t want anything for all that dirt but I gave him some cash and a quart of honey with comb.

I will need to rent a bobcat to make some of the burms higher and spread the dirt out at the low spot.

Looking forward to having a great shooting range with various distances now!

It's a rare event that a neighbor wants to give you something with no strings attached. 'Good to hear. cheers

He was paying someone to remove it so it was a win-win solution for both of us up

Now I’m trying to coordinate renting a skid steer for a week and sharing with some of my neighbors

I’m paying tree trimmers to trim neighbors trees hanging way over lot line. Only because he’s either too lazy or cheap. And I’m tired of the crap falling on my trailers and mule.

Looks good Steve. Hope you don't have cows on the place, they'll stomp it down to nothing.
