Welded a movable base for this second solar array. This one tracks the sun so the panels are facing the sun all day

Is this to power that window A/C unit in the deer blind on top of the container?

It powers a refrigerator, small freezer, TV, and the A/C. I have an additional 1000 watts array.

This is the battery bank and equipment

So what's the investment for something like this?

About $8k if you do all the work yourself. But you get a nice tax credit of 30% of the cost

Very similar to the system I’m looking at putting together for our campervan.

The nice thing with this setup is it’s expandable. I started with 3 batteries and only 600 watts of solar panels.

I’ve learned more and more over time

I recently added the ability to monitor the system remotely. That’s been a game changer
